Summer Season 2023

Roles:

We are looking for up to 8 multi-roling actors per production who have the ability to perform in non- theatre spaces as well as outdoors, regardless of environment to an audience made up of the general public, both planned and potential passers-by. Performers will need to be comfortable working alongside community performers and performers in training. Strong singing voices, combat skills and instrumental skills are desirable but not essential.

The shows will be in non-theatre and/or public spaces that have links with the production’s themes, therefore responsibilities include assistance with get ins/outs as required and possible in-show execution of lighting/sounds cues.

As ever, we encourage applicants of all genders and backgrounds, and are especially keen on hearing from applicants who are of the global majority, are d/Deaf or disabled, LGBTQ+, from a low socio-economic background, and with links to the Sunderland area.

Audition Info:

Casting will be workshop auditions held in Sunderland on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th May 2023. Each day will be 10pm – 4.30pm and you will be required for the full day.
